What to expect at Cattle Baron's Ball

WHO

Cattle Baron’s Ball wants YOU to Cowboy Up with us and Tim McGraw as a Cattle Baron’s Ball underwriter.  The number of tickets you receive depends on the level of your sponsorship.

WHAT

Cattle Baron’s Ball is the largest single-night fundraiser in the world for the American Cancer Society.  Did you know that the ACS is the largest private nonprofit cancer research investor?  Thanks to our generous donors and underwriters, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised almost $64 million for American Cancer Society-funded research since 1974.  

WHERE

This year we are not on a ranch and the event will be mud-free!  Join us indoors at Gilley’s Dallas, 1135 South Lamar Street, Dallas, Texas.  Valet parking provided for VIP Underwriters.

WHEN

Saturday, October 3, 2015.  VIP Baron Party (by ticketed invitation only) begins at 6:00 pm.  The Cattle Baron’s Ball opens to all guests at 7:00 pm.  Our evening concludes with an after-party and breakfast inside Gilley’s. 

ATTIRE

Cattle Baron’s Ball has always been a “boots and jeans” event.  Stilettos can survive our 2015 solid ground and mud-free venue, however, we suggest you do your feet a favor and wear your favorite boots for this year’s Cowboy Up event as you will be walking around the various areas and dancing the night away at the after-party. 

WHAT TO BRING

Bring a smile, your tickets and your wristband.  All tickets will be hand-delivered or mailed to sponsors who have paid in full for their sponsorship within two weeks of the Ball.  Your ticket is required for admission to the event.  No exceptions.

NIGHT OF BALL AUCTIONS AND RAFFLE

We have a legendary live auction and silent auction at the Ball.  Come see the excitement as we auction off over $2 million in items!  We will also be selling raffle tickets for our amazing raffle items – you can purchase raffle tickets up until 9:30 pm.  Please visit: www.cattlebaronsball.com to buy your raffle tickets!

WEATHER PLAN

This year, Cattle Baron’s Ball is indoors and in a giant structure tent at Gilley’s Dallas.  The entire event is enclosed, but if the stars are shining, we will lift the sides of our tent for the main stage entertainer - Tim McGraw.  It is sure to be a memorable concert.  Our 2015 venue means you are covered from the moment you walk in the front door.  Rain or Shine, your boots will be mud-free!
